Summers Will be Deadly Hot as Global Warming Looms in The Next 60 Years, Stanford Researchers Say

The only upside to global warming.
We're in the midst of June gloom in Southern California, but you can be assured that Mother Nature will bring the heat. Maybe for decades to come.

Stanford researchers say that unless we cut back on greenhouse gasses we will definitely see hotter and hotter summers. (Can't wait to party at the Palms in 120 degree heat in Vegas).

But really, these nerds are serious about soaring summer temps for North America, which Stanford states is ...

... likely to undergo extreme summer temperature shifts within 60 years.

"According to our projections, large areas of the globe are likely to warm up so quickly that, by the middle of this century, even the coolest summers will be hotter than the hottest summers of the past 50 years," said the study's lead author, Noah Diffenbaugh.

While we always enjoy bikini weather and making grilled cheese sandwiches on the pavement, academics say this heat could be deadly.

The say that in the years leading up to 2070 we'll see a "new heat regime" that could mimic the European heat waves of 2003, which reportedly killed 40,000 people.

Now, here's the deal, people. While you Hollywood elites drive Priuses but live in megamansions that use multiple times the energy of a normal household (thanks for preaching to us), it seems our reliance on ozone-blasting fossil fuels is getting worse.

And do we really need another disposable plastic product?

We're seeing more talk, less action. Let's get it together.

Utter nonsense. The outrageousness of GW claims gets worse and worse.

Ozone-blasting fossil fuel?? No such thing. That confues CFC release into the atmosphere, which can destroy ozone, and fossil fuel burning, which mostly emits NOx and SOx pollutants.

Yet they can't seem to correctly predict weather for the next 30 days. And if this new heat regime is accurate, is it due to our overuse of fossil fuels, or is it due to expected solar flares (and the enlargement of the sun) and increased occurrences of erupting volcanoes?
