Anthony Weiner Sexted Underage Girl? Cops Are Looking Into Reported Twitter Relationship Between U.S. Rep And 17-Year-Old

This Weiner scandal has legs, and not the kind you want to see sexted to your iPhone, either.

Cops today are reportedly investigating whether U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner communicated with an underage girl from Delaware as part of the Weinergate sexting scandal that erupted after L.A. blogger Andrew Breitbart broke the story of the married congressman's Twitter-based, sexually-charged relationships with about a half dozen women.

Police on Friday afternoon came to the home of a 17-year-old high school junior to ask her about direct online communications she has had with Rep. Anthony Weiner.
Two officers from the New Castle County Police Department arrived at the girl's home around 4:30 p.m. and asked to speak with the girl's mother about the daughter's contact with Weiner.

Fox says the girl started following Weiner on Twitter after she witnessed him speak to her school in April. He, in turn, followed her, Fox reports, and sent her a direct message -- contents so far unknown -- April 13.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Weiner had tweeted sexually suggestive and even explicit photos (one was of his penis) to women.

We said this when it was revealed that one of those women was porn star Ginger Lee: Weiner's career as a U.S. rep is over. Now, if he had any kind of sexual communication with an underage girl, it's really, really over.

Not only that, but he could be in legal hot water here. Possibly. Allegedly.

So far, Weiner says he's not resigning. But he has yet to respond to this latest development.

Well, he did hint that this was going to come out. He should have resigned after it was revealed that he asked Ginger Lee to lie and at the SAME TIME joked about the scandal.

He must go.
