Clark Rockefeller, a.k.a. Christian Gerhartsreiter, Coming to L.A. to Face Charge in 1985 Murder
Yeah, that whole Casey Anthony thing didn't go so well for you fans of 48 Hours Mystery.

But now another seen-on-TV case is just starting up its prosecution phase in L.A. as the man who once reportedly paraded around upper-crust social circles under the guise of Clark Rockefeller will face a murder rap in Los Angeles County.
In fact, 50-year-old alleged impostor Christian K. Gerhartsreiter is en route to our burg "as we speak," says sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.
Long before he allegedly did his Clark Rockefeller thing in New York and Boston he was known as Christopher Chichester and rented a guesthouse from a San Marino couple ... who went missing, authorities say.
That was in 1985, and now he's been charged in the murder of 27-year-old John Sohus, the man of the house. He's also suspected in the death of Sohus' wife, Linda, but he has not been charged.
Gerhartsreiter was serving a 4- to 5-year sentence in Massachusetts for kidnapping his 7-year-old daughter.
Whitmore sounds like it's more than law enforcement that's out to get him:
I can't give you the details of where and when he'll be arriving tonight. There are people who have more than a passing interest in this guy.
Gehartsreiter's bail was set at $10 million. He was due in Superior Court in Alhambra Friday.
