All Katt Williams was saying is if you are going to stay in America, make money, and be apart of the American dream at least alliance yourself with America. Don’t be saying I am Mexican, Jamaican, and African when you should be saying I am Mexican-American and so on. I like what he said, sorry for the one guy that was sitting upfront but we need to all be Americans and nothing else.

The Mexican man in the audience had every right to stand up and say "fuck you racist". I agree. I would have. Katt Williams should nEVER have gone there with the act when he knows full damned well the state of Mexican/American relations at this moment. We have a history of treating Mexicans and those of Mexican descent as "non-humans" in this country. I'm shocked because I love Katt's usually socially concious, low-brow rants on race and politics. GAWD I'm dissapointed as hell to hear he went off like that on Mexican's. Who was he trying to please with that shit? HIs white conservative base? of which he has ZILCH! if you know Katt like his fans do this is completely out of character for his stand up. I don't know what is making him crazy but i do know he has gone crazy. I am really sad for him and the people who sat down to hear him only to get a slap in the face for it. I have worked and lived the American dream and am now looking back over 6 decades to see the end of United States domination of the world and her slide into a semi-third world trash heap. Not one of the people in these comments are fully indigenous if native at all.  And even if their families are from south of the border then they're people never existed in this part of the country anyway.  So what claim do they have past or present on this land?

The reality is that their ancestors not only had their land stolen but also did the stealing (Hint: Most Mexican people are mixed with native and Spanish).  So maybe they should beat themselves up and call it a day.  Or maybe stop living in the past, learn how to succeed in this land as it stands today, and better their circumstances instead of crying over something that happened over 160 years ago.

Sounded like most of the crowd agreed with Kats stance. I do too. Who stands up at a Comedy show and says. "This is Mexico Mother F-er" IN AMERICA!!! You Americans should be insulted by this if you had any balls to stand up for your country and the people that have died keeping it free and prosperous. Make sure it is Fast Accurate Correct and True. Secondly your narrative is welcomed in an opinion article, but when reporting on controversy, still go for the truth and not use the broad brush of scandal to make a story seem legitimate.
