The Council on American-Islamic Relations, along with fellow Capistrano Councilman Larry Kramer, are asking for him to apologize.
According to a post subsequently removed at Patch, Reeve mentioned during the Sept. 6 meeting that "Muhammad is the bitch" of his two new Basset Hounds, which he named "Muhammad and America."
Later he reportedly backpedaled. He was quoted as saying, "America is actually the female dog," according to the Orange County Register.
Okay, Derek. We all know who the bitch with his foot in his mouth is here. Bad councilman.
