Shaw Bruce Warrington: Mother-Daughter Underage Sex Solicitation on Craigslist Lands O.C. Man in Hot Water
From the was he really that stupid? file comes this gem of a tale out of Orange County:

Deputies there arrested 21-year-old Shaw Bruce Warrington last night after he allegedly showed up to meet what he thought would be a mother and her underage daughter for sex, according to Sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino:
Cops say the guy (who probably watches too much Porntube) actually posted at least 10 ads on Craigslist (and we might have found one of them) specifically seeking underage girls for sex, Amormino told the Weekly. Some of the ads were of the mother-daughter variety.
O.C. Sheriff's Department Warrington could very well be innocent, but we'd surely cast him in the roll of internet troll based on his looks.
We found this "Casual Encounters" ad on Craigslist, and Amormino happened to quote from it, indicating it might have been the one that (allegedly) did the suspect in:
Looking for a mom or her daughter to have sex, or both. I dont really mind what age . Young or underage is cool like highschool and below, just no age 50 plus please. I am real so message me if you want to try this. I can host if you want.
Amormino tells us that the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children somehow came across the posting(s) and tipped off Orange County Child Exploitation Task Force, which consists of deputies, Homeland Security agents and U.S. Postal Inspectors.
They set up a sting in which Warrington was allegedly made to believe that a mother was bringing her 13-year-old to him so they could "teach her how to have sex," Amormino said.
The rendezvous was set up at a Starbucks in San Juan Capistrano (he also lives in that city) at 9 last night, and cops say Warrington rolled up in a white van with a mattress in the back (of course). They claim he had a condom in his pocket when he was collared.
Authorities got a warrant to search his home but what they found (or didn't find) wasn't revealed.
Warrington is alleged to have posted at least 25 times on Craigslist in attempts to seek sex, with 10 of those ads allegedly targeting underage girls and/or their moms.
They fear he might have been successful, so the investigation continues.
Warrington was arrested on suspicion of "meeting a minor for sexual purposes," Amormino said. He was jailed in lieu of $20,000.
