The Dodger Divorce Case Is Finally, Officially, Really Over

​Hard to believe it's really over.

But yes, finally, we have a copy of the settlement that ends the single messiest, costliest, and most spectacular divorce in sports history.

Frank and Jamie McCourt have patched up their differences. Gives you hope for the Israelis and the Palestinians.

So here -- officially -- are the terms.

Frank pays Jamie $131 million cash (tax free) by April 30. Jamie waives her rights to the Dodgers. If Frank pays early, he gets a $1 million-per-month discount. So that gives him a little extra motivation to sell the Dodgers by Opening Day.

Jamie gets three homes in L.A., plus one in Vail, Colo., worth about $50 million. Frank gets two homes in Massachusetts.

There are some other details, which you can read in full below. But that's the big stuff. So really, how hard was that?

Before we get too excited, though, we should note that this agreement has already been violated. In Paragraph 12, Frank and Jamie both agreed not to leak any details of this deal to the media before the settlement was entered in court.

That obviously didn't happen. But after two miserable years in divorce court, they must have felt so giddy they just couldn't keep it a secret.
