Penis Trimming Attempt by Wife Puts Her Behind Bars, Palm Springs Cops Say
Snip-snip. A little off the top, apparently.
Cops say a Palm Springs woman tried to cut her husband's penis off with a pair of scissors. Good choice of implement for this age-old, woman-scorned situation. Unfortunately they didn't work.
You know, ladies, while removing your man's manhood can seem to be a perfectly reasonable response to whatever he did wrong, consider this:
The 67-year-old female suspect, ID'd as Virginia Valdez, was behind bars based on the very serious allegations of mayhem, assault with a deadly weapon and spousal abuse, according to the Desert Sun newspaper.
That's serious business.
The 62-year-old former man of the house got away lucky, sustaining only what the paper described as "non-life-threatening" injuries to his groin.
Ladies, investing in medical-grade cutting implements has its rewards.
Anyway, cops said it happened Saturday at 5:45 p.m. in the 1700 block of Rochelle Road, according to the Sun.
Valdez had a $100,000 bail over her head. No trimming that off, either, apparently.
