i just moved to LA last September. I live across the street from the Hollywood Hills, where there is regular apt. buildings and businesses. At first when I am out walking during the day I would often share money with people who ask. Then I realize there is so many homeless in LA, and Hollywood too, that it is not an exaggeration to say you can't walk a mile without being asked for money. Likely you will be asked a few times if you go out much at all. There is a Subway I go to nearby, where homeless people often sit in front of to ask for money, yesterday I see one eating a bowl of Chinese food from Panda express, but he stops to ask me for money for more food later. Now they got body parts under the Hollywood sign and cops are laughing about BJ's for food. I'm pretty sure no one is gonna step in to help these people, and their numbers are increasing, which is why the Police State is gearing up to make things more civilized around here. stupid muddafuks

Those with no ambition to do so. Theres the door and theres the grave. No qualms. I sleep well at night btw. But i also work my ass off to feed my kids and wife. I believe in social programs but someone like her has decided to bypass them. She deserves whatever scrutiny she gets and whatever fate she earns.

Thank's for the insight because I'm pretty sure nobody else knew this. I don't go to McDonalds for their exquisite quisine, I go there when I am short on money which is most of the time and probably just the same for everybody here.
