Alain Salas, Fremont High School Girls' Softball Coach, Charged in Yet Another LAUSD Sex Scandal

I am not saying this is ok if it really happened but I knew Alain very well for about 4+yrs after leaving high school we kept in touch thru msg and occasional "how have you been" phone calls, never did he cross the line with any comments or gestures. What are the consequences for the 15yr old? Does she just live on being free, free of humiliation, free in loving whomever, free in working wherever hired, free in absolutely everything. Because in all this time I have seen her name or picture on the news, she should also be humiliated for acting like a whore and offering her self, did she have no self respect? Why isn’t her life ruined like his, I mean it’s only fair; she committed a crime as well? Because he will never be able to teach, which by the way his profession is as a teacher, his devotion has been and always was towards his family and work. He would also go the extra mile to help us in every way. Like I said I do not agree or condone his behavior if this really happened, but what if it didn’t. If it did I agree he must do the time, but what if just what if he didn’t. According to the law, it’s only a crime if there was sexual contact, and up until now I haven’t heard of it occurring or evidence declaring otherwise. The girl is 15yrs old for Christ sake; she knew what she was doing; now the kids in Miramonte 5-7yr olds, now those are victims or disgusting perverts. Alain if he did anything wrong maybe it was ever meting that whore.  I wish him the best, and for her well what can I say to her; STOP BEING A WHORE!!! I know he didn’t force her not after the msgs I read... At 15 she shouldn’t be thinking about having a baby with a teacher. What kind of parents raised you, what happened in your childhood that you had to look for a father figure? Maybe they should start with the dad. What if there is child abuse in her own home. It’s ridiculous how they just blame the teacher, what about her, why isn’t she being charged with "seducing an adult" or acting like a whore? She knew exactly what she was doing, have any of you read her messages to him "what happens if I get PREGNANT" is what she asked the 40yr old. Does that seem at all innocent to you?

Only God, Alain, & that underage girl, know what really happen. If he did commit the crime, he will make the time. One day he is gonna sit down and just think that, that could've been his lil daugther. Only he knows what he did and/or didnt do. If that underage girl, is lying, it will be on her mind for the rest of her life. the day will come and she will say that she cant take it no more and she will explode with the truth. Only the underage girl knows the truth. God, knows the truth, he seen everything. There is a say " Only God Can Judge Me', thats a lie, the D.A. is in charge of judging. God dont judge, he forgives, just let the truth come out. Alain has children of his own, how will they see him from now on? What wil theyl think of him? The truth will come out one day for sure. till that day comes, i just wish the best for his children.

Salas was my brothers coaches and was one of my bosses along with another coach while working at John C. Fremont. Salas is one of the most helpful people that I know if anyone had a problem, he was someone who people felt safe in to talk to. Although, he is being charged with all these allegations. I know he is not guilty and will over come this situation and be back to being the same faithful person that he is. People who are bad mouthing him; don't you don't know him and as far as people saying he deserves it. You guys are monster. No one deserves this. He has children, friends, co-workers and loved one who will look at him different all because of some stupid allegation. Beware of what you say.

Look people!  This man has become an easy target for the FBI and the LAUSD. The goverment is trying to make him an example of all the crazy stories re: Students being abused within the LAUSD. This man, whom i know for many years, My high school softball coach has done nothing but devote himself to his student athletes. I am not saying that he is innocent, but trying to make everyone understand that he is not a child abuser. Ask the thousands of young ladies that he has come in contact with dating to back in the 90's when we started working at Fremont. He never laid a hand or issued an inapropriate comment. The media is trying to portray him to being a demon by the pictures that are posted. He was a very playful and humorous individual. He is not a monster..... Hope all works out for him...

He was my coach for 3 years...and all I have to say is LMFAO you all need to open your eyes i knew this guy personally and yes he was a perv! Was he nice...? hmmm let me think only to slutty girls ^_^

I keep reading these posts, you are all in denial. What else do you need, he was in contact with this child for a potential sexual encounter. Even if I want to believe or not, the fact are there, transcripts, hickeys...open your eyes fools, that son of a b*i*t*c*h had it coming for years already. Thank god it was not your daughter, sister, or family member. He was already being tracked by the FBI for months. He had too much contact with these kids in and out of school, and on weekends. Why do you think he was divorced???

I've known Alaim for a while, and I'm not buying into this at all.  But now his face has been plastered all over the news so he's automatically guilty even before he's given his day in court.  15 year olds can be just as devious and spiteful as anyone else...I hope the truth comes out and he's cleared.

I didn't know this teacher, but for one thing, I don't think the fact that he has pics of female students is evidence against him. Because of the SLCs at Fremont, teachers get to know their students throughout the 4 years. Bonding is kind of inevitable. As for the extent of the bonding, well that's another thing. A lot of students I know that knew him are standing by his side. He offered help to many. I'm not sure about these allegations, but I can say that a lot of Fremont teachers are important figures in the lives of students. We come from difficult situations, and teachers are usually are go-to people. It's a shame that this happened. I really hope it's not true.
