What if an administrator was happy to oblige that grudge because the teacher rejected him or reported something amiss at the school? What if she's just an outspoken advocate for students or a union rep who knows the codes better than her bosses? As far as I can tell, she unmarried, self-contained with her tidy little tract house and a quiet lifestyle . She is a perfect victim. But she did bond out with 140k in a matter of hours, avoided speaking to reporters and appears to be holding it together in her mug shots. She probably believes the truth can set her free, which is probably true with the police who will drop charges as soon as the case becomes a sinker, which this one is either way. However, the police and courts are not motivated to convict her nor are they free to without meeting a standard of evidence Lausd doesn't have to meet.In fact, if the accusers admit to lying, LAUSD will still go after this teacher.She will be housed, harassed, and hurried out the door because she is earning top wages, a potential plantiff and it's open season on teachers.

Its sad that alot of "little boys" keep writing that had they been n those guys shoes they would have done the teacher too. Do u even bother to think that these boys not only now feel victimized but also have to deal with the grief they have brought upon their own family. This also must be a very devastating situation for this woman's family...who knows if she has children who now have to live with the fact that their mother is a sexual predator. Needless to say, she chose this path n has to pay for the consequences. Instead of writing stupid comments think about how many lives her mistake has effected.

What this teacher did was wrong regardless if the 2boys @ the time consented to it...they were minors n as a parent we trust these ppl with the safety of our children. What I dont understand is why the victim waited to report her? I also attended RHS n knew of mx relationships between my peers n teacher's aides, security staff, n incl one of the probation officers...n even attended prom wit said ppl. Why didn't the principal, teachers, n other chapperones question it?

It is amazing that LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa was holding Press Conferences about running the LAUSD and then various others regarding his Charter Schools.

Why haven't we heard not one TWEET from him regarding these allegations on any of these teachers.

After further investigating who this teacher is.  It turns out I know exactly who she is.  We grew up in the same Boyle Heights neighborhood just yards away from each other.  She's about 6 years older than I am and I know her family.  Now I'm just saddened for everyone involved.  What pushes a teacher to do this? I know the Miramonte case is very different but at the end of the day both are violations of trust and innocence.  No one involved in this case will be the same after today.  I just hope they find peace in their heart and ask God for forgiveness and help!

I was a student at RHS during the time she was there.  As crazy as it may seem. I don't think teachers should have ANY sexual interaction with students.  I don't know what I would have done at that age but now that I have a 13 year old son I'd be extremely upset to know of a sexual relationship. 

I'm sure most high school and recent graduates feel differently than I do.  Wait until you have kids.  Life has a way of changing your mind!
