Gleason Middle School Teacher Removed for Taking Photos of Girls, Source Says
Another day, another sex scandal for the L.A. Unified School District.

This morning we told you that claims of sexual improprieties at public schools were through the roof following the horrific allegations at Miramonte Middle School last month.
This latest case involves a teacher at Gleason Middle School in Tujunga, and L.A. Weekly has learned his name and even the apparent nature of the accusations:
Lydia Grant, the parents' representative on the Sunland Tujunga Neighborhood Council, told us that Jeremy Hules, an 8th-grade algebra teacher, is the instructor who, the district announced today, has been removed from his classroom.
She said it happened Wednesday after a supervisor came into his room and, in checking out a picture on the teacher's phone for an unrelated issue, ended up "swiping" through to other pics that showed the top and buttocks of two female students who were unaware they had been photographed.
The district wouldn't release the teacher's name or say that the action had to do with allegations that were sexual, however.
But one parent told City News Service that the accusations were indeed sexually oriented. Grant told us that several students she has talked to have complained about the teacher's behavior for months and even years.
But she did not say that anyone alleged he had touched them.
No arrest has been made.
Grant says the removal tops years' worth of problems at the school.
We've had problems at the school before and these problems wouldn't continue if the people did their jobs and were held accountable.
