Teacher Moonlighting as a Porn Star? Oxnard School District Investigates Every Schoolboy's Fantasy

Important adult video information added at the bottom.

An Oxnard teacher just blew the mind of every schoolboy ever.

School officials in the Ventura County town put the woman on leave this week after receiving information that she might have, as rumor had it, actually moonlighted as a porn star.

Students reported the teacher as a possible adult video actress. But you know boys. Wishful thinking, right?

Well ...

... Miss Thing might have actually done it.

She was not identified by Oxnard School District officials, who said she was put on paid administrative leave as they, uh, look into it.

The woman teaches seventh and eighth graders at Haydock Intermediate School, according to the Ventura County Star.

School seem to be taking the allegations more seriously after a few teachers said they found "information" online that confirmed what students were saying.

Could this have been hot, sweaty, pulsating "information."

In fact the students' rumors were at first dismissed after administrators looked into it.

According to one broadcast report, the initial inquiry was stymied by ... district computers' porn filters.

Really.

Anyway, some enterprising teachers appeared to have found a way around that (behold the technical wizardry!) and, on Friday, the woman was taken off-duty, district officials announced yesterday.

The district is concerned that students will look for said teacher's alleged performances via smartphones and other devices outside the campus.

You know what? Hell yes they will. Boys will be boys. And some teachers will just be legendary.

[Added at 3:49 p.m.]: Various outlets indicate the video in question is called "Sausage Pizza." We, of course, Googled it and couldn't pinpoint any one alleged production, given the ubiquity of the pizza-delivery milieu in adult video (there are many DVDs out there with a similar title, and some even run in sequels). Feel free to search for yourself if you're over 18 and not, might we suggest, at work or in the presence of children.

stacie teacher porn.JPG
Stacie.

[Added at 6:36 p.m.]: Several outlets and blogs are reporting that the woman in question is Stacie Halas. Someone even opened a Twitter account in her honor and to proclaim that ...

Pornography is LEGAL in this country. The PARENTS need to become more active in their children's lives!

And ...

I fully support the right for people to engage in LEGAL practices outside of their work place. If you agree with me, follow me!

Amen.

And, we found video related to said Halas. It's unusual in that (yes, she's hot, but) the actress in question isn't the fresh-off-the-bus 18-year-old-type you (notice how we said you) usually see as a porn industry rookie.

NSFW.

As a teacher, she most likely had to sign an ethics agreement and/or sign a full disclosure agreement when hired by the district or school.

Such prudes. In Europe this would not even be a problem for her.But in our wonderful country everyone freaks out when it comes to legal porn, when you've got a woman or man who decided to leave the adult industry behind then that should be it.That is their past.Get over it.They also freaked out when word spread that Sasha Grey was suppose to read a book to some kids at a school.

No one is arguing that she did nothing illegal, but teachers are held to a higher standard, and always have been. They are expected to be role models, and always have been. They're told that from the jump. You want to be a teacher? Don't be a stripper and don't do porn. I guarantee you the number of people who think she should get the boot FAR outnumber those that think she should keep her job. She is no longer a fit role model for kids. Porn stars are social pariahs.

If porn is legal then why is prostitution banned? Aren't they both pretty much the same...

I don't know what is worse: a teacher of Jr.High boys doing porn films or the incredible stupidity of so-called adults who see nothing wrong with it! I will try to explain the obvious but if you are so stupid to think what she is doing is OK you probably won't get it: A teacher is an authority figure, performing porn -male or female- outside of school while teaching boys whose hormones are kicking in but whose maturity hasn't, will instantly destroy her credibility, she will be an object of mocking and derision, the classroom will be non-stop chaos, boys will make lewd comments, there will be a non-stop stream of kids sent to the principal's office, who time -the principal's -will wasted with punishment instead of the kids educations! Another thing you approving morons haven't stopped to think about; the girls in the class will be instant collateral damage, they will suddenly be bombarded will sex talk and pictures, there will be upset parents, and not all parents parent responsibly, parents of their child can't protect their child from their kids classmates who aren't parented properly, it will be sheer bedlam, no education will ever sink in the entire year, other teachers in that school will have to deal with the fallout from that porn teachers classroom: that is a helluva lot more important than an offending teacher's "rights". Life is unfair, men get punished harder for doing the some wrong things than a woman doing it, and vice-versa as well, like in this case, though I don't say male porn stars should be able to teach, but the effect is different. That's why schools and other professions have moral clauses, why congressman have to resign -Anthony Wiener, anybody? -though no laws were broken- it's because the behavior in question will make their ability to do their "daytime job" effectively impossible.IDIOTS!

So she should be penalized for a film in her past that these students are not old enough to see in the present? Parents are the root of the problem if their kids are A) watching porn when they are NOT of age B) failing in school or C) both. You act as though she is the one who showed the teenaged boys the film.

What about sex education videos, teachers discussing sex on film, that is legal, moral and ethical. You sound like the hypocrites that don't each their own kids about sex because they are ashamed so they want to schools to do it but somehow without talking about it at all.

Look in the mirror if you want to see an idiot. I bet you think women were all born sinners, too. I wonder if this would even be a conversation if she was a man or if they would have high fived her in the break room.

Or maybe the boy students will just be in awe of her. Ever think of that? They may pick up on her passion and pay extra-close attention. I bet she is an incredible teacher. As for you, an overactive imagination that screams of repression. Live, you need to LIVE, my friend--choose a position other than missionary tonight. You might like it.

God save us from the prudes and prigs.

Also save us from writers who print hearsay without confirming the veracity of the information. Halas' name was printed on seemingly the flimsiest of pretexts. This is how you get libel suits filed against you.

This girl could have starred in a episode of the Sopranos where she is shown putting a bullet in someone's head and had no problem keeping her job. Yet, she makes a porn video and the sky is falling. Amazing.

Now, say, if she made a video showing her doing the deed with her husband would that get her canned, too? Sorry, but your first amendment rights don't stop once you get a teaching credential, especially when you exercise them away from school.

She could have been a massive drug addict as a teenager with a criminal record that wouldn't stop her getting a credential and working in a school since juvenile records are sealed. But she does porn and oh shit, call out the Marines!

Get real you fucks.

To funny, the other teachers & parents knew where and how to find it, they were able to download the movie and show it to the administration, on school grounds I assume? Now just how do you spell double standard?

The only real question is if being a "distraction" is sufficient cause for termination.Unless she provided the videos to the students or used school material to make thefilms, then what she did was not illegal.  If she made the films prior to working as ateacher there, I'm not sure it could moral turpitude either.

If she made it during her teaching career, I imagine you might be able to consider it"Lewdness" and possibly "Contributing to the delinquency of a minor", but I'm not surethat would hold up in court.

The most reasonable solution would be to have her teaching children young enoughwhere this should not a distraction for them, perhaps 4th grade and lower, or only teaching adults in college.

There is an ethics clause sure. But, that relates to questions asked during the interview process. If there is a specific "ethics" issue then that would relate to something else. I find none here. Would you as a woman go blabbing to your boss that you gave someone a BJ in the parking lot at Wendy's at 2 in the morning when you were 19? No, thats not a disclosure item. If they didnt ask, she wasnt required to tell. Is she immoral? Maybe, she also might have just been hungry too. Never a simple path that these women take when they find themselves in a porn movie.

But as to Ethics. You cant terminate someone once hired for a found thing in their past unless it directly relates to the job at hand. Let them enter her performance reviews into court and suddenly watch them drop and they would KILL the school system in a suit.

Juries are remarkably fair in most cases folks. They take a dim view of first having to be there and second those that are in those civil suits are the ones that are out on the streets working day to day. They will stick it so far up a defendants butt it has to be surgically removed.

Here is something you HAVE to remember. You are innocent until you proved guilty in a criminal court. In a civil proceeding you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent. I repeat that ...GUILTY. So to remove her without cause as listed in the schools policy and procedures manual is specious and the courts would find in her favor EVERY time. Especially in California or Florida.

Ethics plural noun 1. ( used with a singular or plural verb ) a system of moral principles: the ethics of a culture. 2. the rules of conduct recognized in respect to a particular class of human actions or a particular group, culture, etc.: medical ethics; Christian ethics. 3. moral principles, as of an individual: His ethics forbade betrayal of a confidence. 4. ( usually used with a singular verb ) that branch of philosophy dealing with values relating to human conduct, with respect to the rightness and wrongness of certain actions and to the goodness and badness of the motives and ends of such actions.

SO.....

If the woman was not asked about her past as in, have you ever been engaged in pornographic acts or depictions of them then they had better just find her an administrative position downtown. IF they terminate her and leave her without any recourse except to sue, she should. There should be no stigma attached to her because of her past unless she failed to disclose employment that would be deemed by their employment standards, illegal, immoral, or what ever their criteria was at the hire time.

For me, I am betting she is one of their better teachers and that the students pay attention.

They learn.

Chick simply put away a profession for a better one and if she hasnt done anything wrong, or didnt violate any employment contracts, or policies, didnt try to get it on with students then I am pretty sure that a termination for something in the past will get them sued and then she wont care as every attorney out there would be standing in line for the wrongful termination suit and defamation. What would they terminate her FOR? Automatic wrongful termination to make something up unless there is a charge, a crime, a something for them to stick into the pink slip. That termination paperwork is also part of something that the NEA would be hopping onto.

Again, where is the crime or moral turpitude? Where is the reason for a termination?

Hey ! You got things in your past you arent proud of I am sure. Likely not as crazy as this one either but what say you? Can you terminate someone for being an ex-porn star? Probably not if all the other parameters are met as a good employee. Can you be terminated if someone found out you gave someone the BJ? No, not a chance. Schools are notorious about keeping sex offenders out of the school system. But, the turnabout is that you are far more likely to be attacked by a teacher or acting under the color of authority as a school administrator of some sort than you are the sex offender.

Thats a fact straight from the FBI statistics. Kinda nuts really. But here it is. She hasnt done a thing wrong and for a measly 5 million I am sure she will find a nice quiet ranch to live on for the rest of her life.

I am actually glad she turned her life around.

Should have tapped it

Shows you the quality of the education...a smart high school student with the knowledge that this chick was a porn actress would have kept the info to himself and then blackmailed the teacher by demanding sex in return for his silence.  I tell you...kids these days.  US Education = FAIL.

Imagine if the porn star is just the teacher's lookalike, that would be a hilariously bad misunderstanding and I bet the school would have to pay damages for tarnishing her reputation/job credibility. And don't say it could never happen because some porn stars cash in on their resemblance to celebrities.

Although I think it would be near impossible to find said teacher in a porno unless people knew her porn alias or happened to find her by chance when doing -ahem- "research" in their spare time.

How lucky is that student!!! To randomly "stumble" across one video out of the trillions out there and it has your teacher? It's like winning the porn lottery! She sadly lost the porn lottery. But if she wants to keep her job just say she has a sex addiction and ask to go to rehab for 30 days.

what she does on her own time is her own business.  she isn't slinging drugs.  aren't kids not supposed to see porn anyways?  sorry, the dots just don't connect here... i don't give a damn what clause there is, this is just lame.

I am a liberal educated person with a high IQ, and I am a teacher.  What she does on her own time can her boss' business.  It is not black and white.  What if she spent her free time in a bikini outside the school holding signs that say "this school sucks".  That is perfectly legal.  She has a responsibility as a representative of the school.  So, sure she has the right to do whatever she wants.  AND the administration has the right to fire whomever they want, and considering the moral clause in her contract, which like most contracts are black and white, they can fire her.

Meatsack

"I am a liberal educated person with a high IQ, and I am a teacher."

With a start like that there is no good reason to keep reading, and yet I did, which confirmed my original snap opinion.

chris sommers

If you had a "high IQ", you would have realized she made these videos (and STOPPED making them) close to 3-4 years ago. She started starring in them ~20 years old; give her a fucking break.

She's no longer making them and chances are, she probably wasn't even making them when employed at her current school.

Macguffin13
Macguffin13

Hmm... what do you teach? Whatever it is, keep the following in mind:

"I am a liberal educated person with a high IQ, and I am a teacher."

The statement that you are a teacher makes the statement about education redundant.

"What she does on her own time can her boss' business.  It is not black and white."

The second statement is a sentence fragment. Consider using a semicolon to connect the two sentences instead.

"What if she spent her free time in a bikini outside the school holding signs that say "this school sucks".  That is perfectly legal."

This sentence implies the teacher would be holding more than one sign at a time, and that each would bear the same message. Also it is inaccurate as the school facilities are not actually a permissible location for such a public demonstration. Additionally there is a significant difference between the statement of dissatisfaction you mention and bias against an employee's previous vocational choices. "She has a responsibility as a representative of the school. So, sure she has the right to do whatever she wants."

The article suggests the teacher is no longer a performer. Though I suppose gramatically these sentences are acceptable.

"AND the administration has the right to fire whomever they want, and considering the moral clause in her contract, which like most contracts are black and white, they can fire her." Here however you began with the word "and", or more exactly"AND,"  and also have a run-on sentence replete with commas. In addition you state here that the contract is "black and white" which directly contradicts your opening in which you state,  "What she does on her own time can her boss' business.  It is not black and white." By the by, the Empress Theodora was thought by many to be a "low woman." As was Cleopatra, Evelyn Nesbit, Catherine the Great, and Eva Peron. So I am guessing you don't teach history either.

Phil E. Drifter
Phil E. Drifter

tl/dr, also incorrect from the first statement so i didn't bother to read.

Debbiy
Debbiy

Actually, NOT black and white.  You first have to prove "immorality" and that is subjective to say the least and frankly, even more difficult given the fact that in California acting in an "adult film" is legal.  Also, standing outside of the school holding a sign that says "this school sucks" is very different - it is defamation and THAT *does* have very clear laws around it.

Christopher Neal
Christopher Neal

I agree, Deb, because this "moral terpitude" is a grey area. If she would have committed the illegal act of prostitution, that would have been a problem. Nothing illegal about acting in a film. Very subjective grey area. I think she's good. I'm proud of her.
