Johnny Strange, a 20-year-old Malibu local, is no stranger to a little danger.

He climbed all of the the highest mountains on each continent -- known as the Seven Summits -- before he was even legal. In January 2011, just after turning 19, he visited the South Pole.

This week, he took it to another level by skydiving out of a helicopter onto the North Pole and becoming the youngest-ever person to complete the so-called Explorers Grand Slam -- reaching both poles and all Seven Summits.

Check out the insane video footage...

Fewer than 30 people in the world have finished the challenge, but Strange did it before he could even legally celebrate it with a drink.

When he's not jumping out of helicopters and climbing the world's tallest mountains, the 20-year-old spends his time as an undergraduate at USC.

He told the L.A. Daily News:

"I'm a college student, and only have a limited amount of time to do these things before I step into the real world," Strange said. "I have to make the best out of what little time I have, and breaking this record is something I have been working towards for the past eight years."

Strange is also passionate about two causes -- ending genocide and curing Parkinson's disease. He often poses for pictures from throughout his adventures holding signs that say "Stop Genocide."
