All of these comments about how terrible this woman is and how many different fathers the kids must have... it's kind of ridiculous. Yes, this woman is obviously careless. There are a lot of dumb people out there... but making presumptions about her lifestyle is not only rude, it's beside the point. Who knows what kind of home this woman grew up in? It could be a miracle that she's chosen to step up and is *trying* to take care of her three kids by herself. I don't think this woman wanted to put her kid's lives in danger. She just sounds naive and a little (okay, maybe a lot) stupid. I know she's responsible for her actions but, honestly, I feel sorry for the woman.

With all due respect, Julie if you read other news sources regarding this story, she doesn't have just the 3 kids that were in the car with her....she actually has 6 kids. 29 years old and six kids. This woman is stupid. She does not want to pay for car insurance, to fix a defective windshield & defective lighting equipment and to get her 4 year old a car seat, but she has money to get that nasty tattoo on her chest and feed her face (she has a big ole' gut) and I bet she has a nice cell phone She is so damn lazy she could not go the DMV to get a license plate and to properly have her kids restrained in the car (she was ticketed before on this issue). I feed sorry for her kids, Grasshopper had Master Po, but her kids have Shawndeeia......my god help us all.

If you are not sure which is worse, then you are part of the problem. The comments posted on this board have only commented on the situation this woman has gotten herself into. Unfortunately, we see it all the time. The people that have painted themselves into a corner do nothing to get themselves out of it. This woman apparently doesn't think the law applies to her in any way. I find it amusing that you would even try to defend her. People need to stop throwing out 'racist' and 'bigoted' left and right. I am not sure what 'hateful rhetoric' you are referring to, as i am not a Santorum follower. But let me ask you this: if this woman's behavior would have resulted in a car crash that killed one of her children, or you or one of your loved ones, how would you feel? Hateful behavior is such if the person does not deserve it; however from the facts presented in this story, this woman deserves people bagging on her, and quite frankly perhaps she needs people being honest with her if she is ever going to improve herself, and her life. My guess is she is where she is at because she had done whatever she wants for most of her life and has gotten away with it, either from her parents, the government or school.
