I had an opportunity to do adult films about 13 years ago when i was young, broke and new to LA.  I decided against it because, even though i needed the money, i knew that i didn't want that to be my career.  I did not want that stuff out there for my family, clients, friends, and future wife and children to see.  Today, being in business, i am glad i chose not to do it.  The bottom line is people make choices and the choices you make are not always reversible.  This woman made a choice to do adult films, and now wants to go back into teaching.  Her choice, in my opinion, has made that impossible.  With her adult clips on the internet, she is far too disruptive to the kids in her classes.  Now she wants to sue the district because of a choice she made.  I find that not only pathetic but indicative of her moral code or lack thereof.

This teacher's past is not grounds for dismissal.  While I am glad I don't have such content online for my students to find, what a person does in the past  does not determine the person they are now.  This teacher used the industry as a way to pay her bills.  Unless she's doing that today, while in the classroom, this is not grounds for dismissal.  

Calm down she didn't do the students. It was 6 years ago. Everyone has skeletons in their closets. Guarantee half of you would be fired if your employer dug hard enough. 

Let her teach.....who cares.  Kids are watching porn in middle school anyways with the technology that's available.

iIf she had gone to work at a senior care center,or a hospital nothing would have came from it. I want to know where the students, that informed the school, were when they "happened" upon these clips.  If they were in school, the school is just as responsible for their "disruption". They should have had blocks on the internet. I wonder if these studens were ever reprimanded.

I don't believe she should lose her job for something she did 6 years ago.  She did what she felt was right for her at that time to get her education.  I'm sure we ALL have done something, whether big or small, to benefit us in our future.

What should have mattered was if she was doing ger job well.  The school could have swept this under the rug or offered her another position somewhere else.  I don't think the school is full of Mother Teresas.

I hope that if she is not re-instated that she is nicely compensated.

Serves her right, you can be a porn star or any other type of sex worker but you can't put your business out like that on the internet if you expect to work with children since we know that children will find anything on the net and the teacher becomes a distraction to the students. Being a porn star and teaching in the public schools.  How could she degrade herself?  Why would she humiliate herself in an industry that has no respect for the people it hires?  I am, of course, talking about her job as a school teacher.  Public school systems treat their workers like slaves and demean them every chance they get.  No other industry has such deplorable working conditions than a public school teacher.  No other industry treats their employees with such disrepect than the public school system.

Fact of the matter is education, come on people grow up, we all like sex, it is natural, just watched her video and yes it is for adults, adults. They have teachers unions and school boards and so many protections that is is very hard too hard to fire these fallible people. I'm sick of it, my last year of college I had teachers that talked about sex, and very personal things that had no place in the school. But, if a student did the same they would be expelled. Unless it is a sex class or other similiar class why can't we have teachers just teach and keep their garbage out of the classroom. What have we become when we are allowing porn stars to teach?
