Stephen I am not saying I agree with Frank either way, but why is it that when someone states their opinion with some facts, people like you come back with not one fact, not one intelligent comment but just ask that person to keep their opinions to themselves? This site is about making comments, sharing your opinion etc., what did you share? You just didnt like what someone else had to say because you dont agree with it, so you asked them to keep thier opinions to themselves?? Thats real American. I am glad that Frank shared his opinion, also accompanied by some laws in Florida that I was unaware of. We need to hear all sides of the story, we need to know how others think in this world and we need to find ways to work together to make this country better, not just tell people to shut up because we are frustrated that we have no intelligent answer to their opinion.

BigdoxxMaybe you should look up the term Due Process (which would be a legal term deriving from the 14th amendment - that would pertain the the US Constitution Big - not the 14th time you had to fill out your unemployment application for typos) then apply it to the facts at hand (see - that is how rules of this game are played - are you following..?).  Due process applies to everyone - yup - even poor Mr. Zimmerman.  Simply put (for your sake Big) Due process has to do with the laws applying equally to the protections of everyone.  Ok - this is where this now gets a bit tricky - its not really that hard to understand but for you Big you gotta stay close..  The Florida legislature enacted a stand your ground law where persons within the confines/laws of Florida have the right to use deadly force if they feel immediate danger/harm etc rather than flee (you might want to actually look up the statute Big and/or have someone read it to you).  So Mr. Zimmerman's Due Process comes into play when he invokes this statute to protect him from prosecution for his actions.  Mr. "Trayvon Brawley's" Due Process comes into play over the state not protecting him from getting shot in the street.  Now the facts (still following this Big?  I know it's horribly distasteful to deal with truths).  The rules of evidence now come into play - look at that - again Due Process for both men.  The unfortunate situation here is that a.  There is a ridiculous statute in the state of Florida which condones and protects the behaviors of Mr. Zimmerman whether it was the drafting parties stated intentions or not at the time of drafting the law - the facts are it is poorly drafted to unintentionally (I will assume) protect and encompass this level/type of behavior in the state of Florida.b.  Feeling intimidated for ones life is subjective on some level - see Big - what intimidates you (i.e. the facts, knowledge, education, facing truths and not making or relying upon sweeping generalizations) does not intimidate others.  Along with the subjective state of mind of the defender (that would be Mr. Zimerman Big..  keep following) the objective facts of fearing for ones life (i.e.  was the other party armed, did they use physical force etc) have to be reviewed before a prosecutor can initiate charges (look at that Big - it's Due Process again - wow - that Due Process is a tricky little animal once you understand it).So here we go again talking about the facts of the case which have yet to be fully revealed.  But what we can safely assume is that the prosecutor and the investigative team are doing everything they can to see if they do in fact have a case for murder against Mr. Zimmerman.  But to date those facts must be cloudy at best.  Making the assumptions that no municipality no matter how backward wants to have a federal investigation breathing down its neck the easiest out here would be to arrest Mr. Zimmerman and shut up all the ignorant idiots (that would be you again Big) who are mouthing off without knowing the laws of the state of Florida or the facts as they pertain to the case.But it must not be that easy as the facts here when gathered (yes - albeit one sided - but no more one sided than any other murder investigation where someone pleads self defense under the criminal defense statutes of the state where the murder occurred (look Big were full circle here to having to give Due Process of the laws to everyone - even poorly conceived and written ones - remember the Bush Gore election in Florida and those ill conceived Florida voting laws??  Due Process for all.Also Big what could be worse than the rhetoric of uninformed idiots such as yourself would be to weakly indict Mr. Zimmerman and then have it all fall apart at a trial where the jury acquits him for lack of evidence and reliance on Florida's statute for self defense as written and then having you and your ignorant cronies outside the court house rioting and screaming no justice no peace.  See Big - I am sure the folks in Florida are thinking about this as well that is why they are slowly putting together the case and the facts to see if they can in fact bring charges.So Big what's to do for ignorants like you who are upset there is not yet an arrest in this case?  Well you can join the advocacy for stronger hand gun regulation (Big - don't put away that US Constitution just yet cuz after learning about the 14th amendment were now going to teach you about the 2nd).Or you can protest to the Florida legislature to change or revoke the statute.  Or you can complain loudly enough that the Federal government steps in to regulate the state of California's laws as unconstitutional (we're going deep here Big - ever hear of Roe v Wade?  Maybe not but I'm sure with all your emancipation bullshit you know the history of of the Feds vs the states with Jim Crow laws).Ok Big - that's enough for your ignorant ass today - I'm tired of playing with you.Good day and have a fine albeit ignorant life.
