Dodger Stadium Assault Injures Man Involved in Parking Lot Crash

Added at the bottom: Four people were arrested and ID'd.

An assault at Dodger Stadium last night had echoes of the Bryan Stow incident, in which a Giants fan was beaten at the 2011 home opener, but luckily the victim's injuries in this case were not life-threatening.

The fracas, first reported by @LAScanner on Twitter, happened before 9 p.m. in parking lot 3.

ABC7 tracked down the rest of the story and found out this is what happened:

The victim was involved in a fender bender after the Dodgers' game with the St. Louis Cardinals.

One or more individuals pulled him out of his car and beat him, causing non-life-threatening "head and facial injuries" that sent him to County-USC Medical Center.

The station says a woman who was eight months pregnant was with the victim and was hospitalized as a precaution.

Four people were questioned by cops.

About 14 months ago, during the season opener against the archrival Giants, a San Francisco fan named Bryan Stow was beaten into a coma, allegedly by two Dodgers fans.

That incident set off a flurry of bad press about security at Dodger Stadium.

[Added at 11:32 a.m.]: City News Service reports that four men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon (their fists and feet -- allegedly), following the fracas.

[Added at 6:15 p.m.]: According to City News, the four were identified by the LAPD as "Arthur
Morales, 30, of Monrovia; Alan Trujillo, 29, of Los Angeles; Ulisis Briceno, 26, of Los Angeles; and Alejandro Briceno, 29, of La Crescenta."

Two posed bail and were released earlier today and two others were in the process of getting out. Bail had been set at $30,000 each.

It is a sad news,it is now not safe to visit at midnight.

Telling the Truth
Telling the Truth

OK, here is the truth.  It is not Dodger Stadium.  It is not the ownership.  It is some of the people who come to the games.  Everyone dances around the PC Dance, but generally it seems Hispanic people causing trouble a lot of the time.  Period.  So many will tee-off on me and say i am racist, or whatever.  Go ahead.  I am not racist, and there are many good Hispanic people out there.  But if you don't want to be a stereotype, than quit acting like one.

You get all these dirtbag gang-banger Latino's all over LA...they seem to be, more often than not, the ones at the Laker rallies burning cars, the ones beating on people at many events in town, and generally are the perps on at least 50% of the crime on the local news.

I am not sure what the solution is, but if i was Hispanic, i would get some leadership together and work on cleaning up the garbage within your community.

It's inherent in the culture.  It cannot be expunged.

Arrested were Arthur Morales, 30, Alan Trujillo, 29, Ulisis Briceno, 26, and 29-year-old Alejandro Briceno. I Live in LA, and will never attend a Dodgers game. Driving in Compton at midnight with your windows rolled down is a safer environment.

Absolutely agree with that statement. Haven't been to Dodger Stadium since the 80's.
