Good Magazine
News broke today that (almost) the entire editorial staff of Los Angeles-based GOOD Magazine has been fired.

Just last night was the launch party for the magazine's latest issue featuring, somewhat ominously, articles on the theme "Migration." Among those laid off were executive editor Ann Friedman, senior editor Cord Jefferson, lifestyle editor Amanda Hess, business editor Tim Fernholz, managing editor Megan Greenwell, and associate editor Nona Willis Aronowitz. We are awaiting confirmation that education editor Liz Dwyer and assistant editor Zak Stone will be staying on.

Departing staffers tweeted their farewells:

...GOOD's own Twitter account meanwhile, remained oddly silent on the issue:

We've reached out to founder Ben Goldhirsh for comment about what these changes mean for GOOD, and will update as information becomes available.
