Vanessa Tsakrios, 24-Year-Old Substitute Teacher in Oxnard, Allegedly Sexted 17-Year-Old Student
Another teenage boy's wet dream in Oxnard! Right when students might finally be coming down from the vision of Haydock Intermediate School teacher/porn star Stacie Halas getting railed on the Internet (footage she reportedly shot while she was employed as a teacher), they find out their substitute teacher has allegedly been sexting their classmate.

Oxnard police tell the the Ventura County Star that 24-year-old Vanessa Tsakrios exchanged "inappropriate photographs" with...
... a 17-year-old boy at Pacifica High. She was arrested yesterday evening on suspicion of "communicating with a child with intent to commit improper sexual acts" and "child annoyance" -- although we doubt the "victim" was very annoyed.
In the words of an Oxnard high-schooler at a neighboring campus: "lucky ass niggah whoever he was he a bitch tho for ratting out."

The Twitter user also says he "tried spitting game and she wouldn't give in." To which a friend replies: "she plays hard to get." Looks like Tsakrios may have gotten this kind of attention before.
Studies do show that woman sex offenders often get off the hook easier than men. But in this case, with only a seven-year difference between the (likely stoked) 17-year-old Pacifica kid and recent Chico State graduate Ms. Tsakrios, it's difficult to take the crime very seriously.
The accused student-sexter is reportedly being held on $500,000 bail.
Commenters at the Los Angeles Times are outraged that this is how the Oxnard Police Department is spending its time. Pacifica High School student Sal Magallon writes, "She was honestly no harm to anyone. She's a good women and doesn't deserve this."
And then, of course, there's the usual fare of "She can sext me if she wants to."
Tsakrios, a Camarillo resident, has taken down her Facebook page since she was arrested. (Good thinking.) But before she did, it showed she was part of a large Greek family that's very active in the community. She's been featured in various local news stories on Greek festivities in the area. And according to students on Twitter, her father also works as a teacher in the Oxnard Union High School District.
