Old Lady Pepper Sprayed in Face at Burbank Metrolink Station; A-Hole Sought
A grandmotherly old woman was pepper sprayed in the face this week as she waited for a Metrolink train to take her to work, police said.

A man in his 50s walked up to the 73-year-old, said something "unintelligible," then started spraying, Burbank police Sgt. Darin Ryburn told the Weekly.
The winner got a way, but cops are actively looking for him:
The suspect was described as a fiftysomething white man with a large build and blue eyes: He was wearing khaki pants and gray or green shirt, Ryburn said.
The attack happened at about 6:40 a.m. yesterday at the downtown Burbank Metrolink station, he said. The woman was waiting for a train to take her to her workplace in Santa Clarita, according to the sergeant.
The victim actually had to be hospitalized after experiencing the typical burning sensation, particularly in the eyes, that happens following a dousing of pepper juice.
She was taken to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank to be treated, Ryburn said.
