Porn DVDs Found Under Desk of L.A. Transportation Clerk

Officials say hundreds of videos were found, although some were regular, non-X-rated movies.
The 20-year-plus veteran, who's eligible for retirement, now faces an investigation to determine if he used his city computer and work time to order the collection, we're told.
The find was made by a supervisor in the first week of August, but officials had to wait until this week, when the male employee returned from vacation, to get the inquiry rolling, officials said.
Police were immediately called in to check out the discovery in case, for example, any child porn might be involved. We were told that didn't turn out to be the case.
The employee does not deal with the public.
The department sent this statement to the Weekly:

An investigation into allegations of inappropriate use of a city computer at work; inappropriate materials in the workplace; and inappropriate use of workplace address to receive personal mail items is under way and the department cannot comment further until the investigation is completed."Inappropriate behavior is not acceptable and based on the outcome of the investigation, LADOT will take the strongest personnel action possible.
The alleged porn aficionado is on paid administrative leave pending results of the inquiry, city officials said.
The guy's job is on the line, but that doesn't mean he can't still walk away with retirement, it appears.
Way to jerk the taxpayers around!
