Get that last celebration of warmth in before the Santa Ana winds blow even more hot weather on you for fall. And be safe. The LAPD is targeting you hipsters in Silver Lake as well as drivers in North Hills with its weekly DUI check points.
Here's your LA Weekly drunk patrol cheat sheet for the weekend:
First up is a drunktard dragnet right in the heart of hipstertown, Silver Lake, tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., according to the LAPD:
It'll be on Sunset Boulevard near Maltman Avenue.
Tomorrow (Saturday) 5-0 will be in North Hills, on Nordhoff Street near Woodley Avenue, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., police say.
