Updated below: Three released, one still in custody. Victims identified.

Police have detained four people in connection with the triple-homicide in Downey on Wednesday.

Detectives are questioning the detainees, but so far none have been arrested, according to City News Service.

The shooting took place at United States Fire Protection and a nearby home on Cleta Street at about 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

Sources told the Long Beach Press-Telegram that the suspect kidnapped two victims at the business and then drove to the house, where two people were shot. It appeared that the suspect targeted several members of one family.

The dead included two women and one man, but officials have not confirmed their names.

The Downey Patriot reported that the shooting may have been drug-related.

Update, 8:30 p.m.: KNX's Claudia Peschiutta reports that a man matching the suspect's description is still being questioned, but that three other detainees were released.

The Downey Patriot reports that the victims have been identified as Josimar Rojas, Irene Cardenas, and Susana Perez-Ruelas.
