Pig In Mitt Romney T-Shirt Dumped At Manhattan Beach Republican Campaign HQ

Is there such a thing as a sore winner?

Someone celebrated Mitt Romney's presidential loss this week by dumping a dead pig on the doorstep of Republican campaign headquarters in Manhattan Beach.

The oinker was, strangely, sporting a Romney t-shirt. It's head was wrapped in barbed wire:

That's what witnesses told ABC Los Angeles. They said it appeared to be pork from a butcher shop.

The discovery was made about 6:30 a.m. yesterday, and police disposed of the pig, putting in a trash can, according to the station.

No one, it appeared, was at the HQ.

The case was being investigated as illegal dumping of an animal carcass, says ABC7.

If the prankster had any compassion he would have marinated the pork, fried it, and offered it with salsa and warm tortillas as a consolation prize.

This is mean! The pig didn't do anything to anyone!

seems appropriate.   If Romney hadn't been such a "PIG" perhaps he would have won.

I would suggest  that if people are bothered by this act, they should quit eating pork.

Become a vegan. Perhaps the sacrifice of this hog  by the meat processor and it's  unintended

use will extend the lives of some people. On the other hand, maybe if you're a member of the GOP, maybe you should start eating pork more. Perhaps it was an enticement

This suits them well. Remember that this was a pig from a meat processor. It was slaughtered for human consumption.

No matter how partisan one may be, one cannot deny that this stunt was meant to be a metaphor for Carl Rove, Rush Limbaugh,  and Sheldon Adelson, They all have body types that resemble a swine.

It makes me sad when Dems resort to that kind of extreme Republicanism.

As a local Democratic Party leader, I unconditionally condemn the repugnant act perpetrated at the Manhattan Beach Republican headquarters today.

This kind of behavior has no place in our political debate and should be condemned by both sides.

I don't know anyone in our local Democratic community who has ever shown any inclination toward such actions.  Although it is easy to assume a partisan motivation for this disgusting stunt, we should not jump to conclusions.  This is likely to be the exploit of an individual who is not fully involved in the political process.

I wish to console my Republican counterparts and assure them that our organizations do not condone or foster that kind of behavior.

I am asking everyone, do not allow the bad behavior of one individual to lower civility for the rest of us.  Let's accept our differences and work together to improve our country.

Don't be a weenie Tony. This is a political stunt. It is the very essence of politics.

Southern California Republicans are some of the most hypocritical right wingers

in existence in this country. Stand up to them for gods sake !
