The macabre discovery of a man's body and separated head in Culver City turned out to be a grisly suicide, authorities said.

Cops think the man hung himself and the head became detached in the process, according to City News Service.

... by a security guard at Kaiser's "Culver Marina" medical office at 12001 Washington Blvd. shortly before 3 yesterday afternoon, cops said.
Culver City Patch reported that the man's body and nearby head, apparently, were found at the bottom of a parking structure stairwell.
Lt. Omar Corrales told the publication that the "head was removed and is lying next to the body."
