On End-of-the-World Day, Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan Wants 'Lights Out for Newtown'
On the day some believe the world will come to an end, some of the lights will go out.

... the victims of the Newtown tragedy.
Nice sentiment, but bad timing if you ask us.
Millan, the canine maestro who runs Cesar Millan Inc. and the Cesar Millan Foundation, even suggests you run to Facebook and Twitter to encourage your friends to go at least partially dark.
The Twitter hashtag he wants you to use: #LightsOutforNewtown.
People are already edgy about this so-called Mayan apocalypse, even if it's complete hooey.
And Millan is Mexican. So there you go, conspiracy theorists.
Some are stalking up on rations and even building bomb shelters.
Yeah. If folks mistake this handle as a call for a blackout, there could be unintended consequences. A spokeswoman for Millan tells the Weekly:
Of course a lot of things were taken into consideration, but we wanted to look at the more positive aspect of the message, which is to turn the lights out on violence.
Not sure lights going out is the best reassurance that Dec. 22 will be a good day, but OK.
