That revelation appears to have inspired Disney officials to un-invite her to next year's affair, according to the Orange County Register.
The runner seems to have spent much of yesterday apologizing:
The 44-year-old, outed as a $600-an-hour call girl, took to Twitter:
As crazy as I know it seems, I never thought I would be exposed, therefore never hurting anybody.— Suzy Favor Hamilton (@favorhamilton) December 20, 2012
I have been seeking the help of a psychologist for the past few weeks and will continue to do so after I have put things together.— Suzy Favor Hamilton (@favorhamilton) December 20, 2012
I cannot emphasize enough how sorry I am to anyone I have hurt as a result of my actions and greatly appreciate the support from family— Suzy Favor Hamilton (@favorhamilton) December 20, 2012
She said she turned to escorting to escape from her life's problems, including depression and marriage woes. Her website says she's a motivational speaker. (Can't make this stuff up).
Disney announced this week that Hamilton would return to speak during its Disneyland Half Marathon weekend next August, but yesterday spokesman Bob Hitchcock told the Register she's no longer coming.
The Smoking Gun broke the news of Hamilton's "secret life" as a Las Vegas escort, a fact she appears to have admitted.
The site offers evidence that Hamilton worked in the local escort business as "Kelly" during her brief summer trip to Anaheim, noting that a booker had tweeted that Kelly was available in O.C.
