Thirty-three California teens got together to make a video demanding an end to gun violence.

The kids are participants in the California Endowment's Building Healthy Communities initiative, and the video was coordinated by David Valdez, Director of the Youth Institute at the Weingart East Los Angeles YMCA.

In it, the youths say ...

... "enough" when it comes to gun violence.

The clip is a response to the Newtown massacre and celebrities' subsequent "Demand A Plan To End Gun Violence" campaign.

Valdez:

Students want schools to be safe. But they are wary of solutions that only call for more police in schools.

Responding, it seems, to the NRA's call Friday for armed guards at every American school, Robert K. Ross, president and CEO of the California Endowment, says:

Arming schools to the teeth is not the answer.

Amen?
