Actor Edward Furlong, who long ago played Arnold Schwarzenegger's side kick in Terminator 2, was arrested in West Hollywood early Sunday morning and charged with a misdemeanor count of battery, City News Service reports.

Furlong was arrested on November 21 for a similar domestic violence case involving the same woman. The 35-year-old actor has an unfortunate history of getting into scrapes with women.

In addition to Terminator 2, Furlong has given stirring performances in American Heart with Jeff Bridges and American History X with Ed Norton.

Furlong, who was born in Glendale, was literally plucked out of obscurity when a casting agent approached him at the Pasadena Boys and Girls Club and asked if he wanted to act in a movie. Furlong was then 12 years old, and ended up working with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the blockbuster Terminator 2.

The role brought the actor wide fame, and he's since been involved in numerous controversies -- at the age of 14, he became romantically involved with his 29-year-old female tutor.

Furlong has also reportedly suffered a substance abuse problem over the years.

He was held on $50,000 bail for his most recent arrest.
