Venice Stabbing: Son Attacks Parents, Mother Seriously Injured, Cops Say
A 25-year-old stabbed both of his parents in Venice today, sending his mother to the hospital in serious condition, cops say.

The father's injuries were "minor," LAPD Officer Sara Faden tells the Weekly. The son was arrested in connection with the morning attack and was still in the process of being booked, she said.

... at 7:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Carroll Canal Court, Faden said.
Yo! Venice!, which broke the news of the attack, had this account:
Witness "OT" was jogging along Carroll Canal when he heard a faint cry for help."OT" investigated and found a woman lying in a pool blood. "The woman said her son had done it to her and was inside killing her husband, please call 911″.
Faden says the suspect used a "sharp object:"
He stabbed his mother multiple times in the upper body.
Police told us the suspect also sustained injuries, apparently when at least one of the parents tried to fight back: He was treated at a hospital and then returned to police custody.
