Anonymous Threatens Cyberattack Over Christopher Dorner's Death

It seems the hacker group Anonymous is vowing to retaliate over the apparent death of Christopher Dorner.

Some in the group are upset following Dorner's almost-certain demise in a fire sparked by pyrotechnic tear gas launched into a cabin where he was believed to be holed up Tuesday:

Based on police radio traffic (one cop says, "Burn this motherf-----!"), there are folks in the twitterverse who believe the suspect was burned alive on purpose, a charge that San Bernardino County Sheriff-Corner John McMahon denied yesterday.

Now at least one Anonymous Twitter account is vowing revenge.

The tweet is directed at the San Bernardino County District Attorney's office, which doesn't appear to have had anything to do with Tuesday's firefight and raid by the sheriff's department.

Twitter users have also widely called out the LAPD for the law-enforcement assault on the cabin. The department says it did not take part in the operation.

We reached out to San Bernardino sheriff's and D.A. officials regarding the hackers' apparent threat but had yet to hear back.

Clifford Neuman, director of USC's Center for Computer Systems Security, explained to us what authorities -- if Anonymous can figure out who it wants to target -- might expect.

Denial of service (DoS): This is perhaps the easiest move for the group to carry out. It simply overwhelms a website with automated requests to view it, taking it down.

Website hacks: This is where members of the group somehow get the keys to a website and change its content and imagery to clown Anonymous' targets.

Document hacks: This is the most serious of the group's alleged actions. In such a case hackers would break into non-public computer systems, obtain sensitive documents (such as someone's personal info or embarrassing memos) and post them online.

Neuman says authorities can defend themselves by ensuring that their websites are hosted off-site, by being extra vigilant about failed password attempts, and by reminding employees to be wary of "fishing," -- official-seeming emails, phone calls and the like seeking reaffirmation of passwords and other sensitive info.

Most of the hacks, Neuman says, are just "an annoyance, an embarrassment," but he says document thefts can be painful to an organization.

Over the weekend Anonymous claimed it had taken down the LAPD's website in retaliation for the department's shooting last week of two innocent women in a truck believed to be Dorner's.

Police said they were unaware of the site ever going down, and when we checked it was fine.

Here are some recent Anonymous-related tweets about Dorner:

THE YEAR OF THE RAT.

Yes, why not, we had Rats amongst us for the past twenty, or actually 30 years, and no one complained. Mayor Katy Geissert was waiting for miracles to happen. Even at the Oktoberfest?

"I would like to make an effort to contribute to the Four Modernizations of China," the FBI said this "Greg" Chung wrote in a letter to Chinese officials, in which he "discussed sending manuals dealing with flight stress analysis."

The Four Modernizations refers to a Communist China economic program that stresses agriculture, industry, science and national defense.

Great, and we attacked the ones who were speaking up? So these spies could operate in peace? "The FBI said they also discovered letters from Chinese officials requesting information about the space shuttle's fuselage structure and heat- resistant tiles."

Sure, our weak link in that program. Our "tiles" of protection. Amazing. And O'Brien even said that Chung's motivation "does not appear to be financial.'What is clear is a strong sense of loyalty to China,' he said."

Many U.S. leaders now consider China to be "the biggest problem" when it comes to industrial espionage, said William Overholt, director of the RAND Center for Asia Pacific Policy in Santa Monica. It seesm to be a joke, considering the ecxperiences we have had at AlliedSignal and at Hughes [in Torrance].

But he also said, no kidding, "even countries the U.S. considers friends have been known to steal trade secrets.'It's an extremely widespread problem, including some of our closest allies,' Overholt said."

Simply because of its sheer size, China has developed a reputation as a leading violator of intellectual property rights, he said. The country is known for being one of the world's largest markets of pirated software, video games, DVDs and similar media.

"Overholt said this can affect the way U.S. government and companies deal with China.'Because of the feeling that the problems from China are the biggest problem, I think that there's more awareness and caution in dealing with Chinese,' he said."

Yes, and where was the "Breeze" [and Box], when we reported our findings? Sleeping at the Wheel like Hahn and even worse!

Guess who is your new Representative?

Dear Citizens,

A friend of mine sent this in  to me:

The State of California has no code of Ethics. Every professional organization in the country has a code of ethics.

According to Polit and Beck (2010) “one of the first efforts to establish ethical standards was the Nuremberg Code”.

Polit said that this code was developed in 1949 after the Nazi atrocities of medical experiments of the 1930’s and 1940’s,which are some of the most famous examples of recent disregard for ethical misconduct.

As modern, civilized people we might like to think that systematic violations of moral principles against helpless or “captive” populations occurred centuries ago.

The Nazi’s program of research involved the use of helpless captives, prisoners of war and “racial” enemies designed to purposely test the limits of human endurance, human disease,  and untested drugs.

The studies were not only with out moral devise, but they were unethical because they subjected helpless subjects to death by burning cold, disease, heat and dehydration,  and the participants could not refuse because they were captive.

The Nuremberg Code, the Declaration of Helsinki, the Ethical Principles of Psychologist and Code of Misconduct, The ANA and ethical conduct principles for Nurses, the AMA and Physicians code of ethics.

In the United States just in  the 1970’s the Tuskegee Syphilis Study, sponsored by the US Dept of Public Health Service gave syphilis to 400 men from a poor

African American community and studies the effect’s while deliberately withholding treatment. In the 1980’s Dr. Herbert Green of Auckland New Zealand studies women with cervical cancer: the women with cancer in the cervix were not told they were sick so that the researchers could study them as the disease progressed.

In the 1960’s live cancer cells were injected into a population of elderly Jewish patients at the Jewish Chronic Disease Hospital in Brooklyn.

Dr Saul Krugman injected mentally retarded children with hepatitis around the same time, the 1960’s.

It was revealed that in 1993 that U.S. Federal Agencies had sponsored radiation experiments since the 1940’s on hundreds of people since the 1940’s, hundreds of prisoners and elderly hospital patients.

So I ask you what is the code of ethics in California? Or are the public and appointed officials of California conducting their own business to their own, “He violated our code”? As a professional I took an oath, made a solemn promise to follow a code of ethics. This means that I will not carry out an order, for any reason that would result in harm to another human being. So it is my duty to question a dangerous or even unethical order.

In the case of Chris Dorner, a mentally disturbed, captive, prisoner, that could have been easily subdued by gas that is absorbed through the skin.

Or he could have even been waited out. It is clear that those that gave the order were ethically and morally wrong.

Those that carried out those order’s made no attempt to question a obviously deadly order, made no appeal to higher ups to re think the need for a deadly and horrible experiment with our money.

In fact, it was quite the opposite. The officers not only blindly carried out this order, to publicaly terrorize the population, but to burn a mentally ill, captive prisoner.

They officers said with zeal, and then carried out an obviously immoral unethical order. The people of California have become just what  the Nazi’s made of their population. The LAPD, the people of Orange and the rest of Southern California have become lost.

They have lost their moral compass from years of brutality and greed to the point they can no longer be trusted to govern over themselves.

The countless people I’ve met that have fled California under the same circumstances as Chris Dorner have been forgotten. But at least they are still alive.

No need to kill Mr. Dorner; the police have made a serious mistake as the country now sees the real purpose of law enforcement in USA: to torture, imprison, murder w/o Due Process as directed by fbi.
