L.A. DUI Checkpoints In Hollywood, Downtown Starting Tonight

Don't turn your weekend into a heartbreaker: The LAPD has announced three DUI checkpoints for the weekend, including one in the heart to of Hollywood clubland tonight.
From what we hear, the drunk-driver bust is not too romantic. So here's your DUI checkpoint cheat sheet for Feb. 15 and 16:
-Tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. the LAPD will be conducting a checkpoint on Hollywood Boulevard at Gower Street in the heart of Hollywood.
-Tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. a checkpoint will be happening on Victory Boulevard at St. Claire Avenue in North Hollywood.
-Saturday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. there will be a checkpoint on Alameda Street at East Olympic Boulevard downtown.
The department wants you lovebirds out there to know about the checkpoints: It hopes that, armed with the knowledge that cops will be on the lookout for DUI drivers, you'll moderate.
Love is ... not drinking and driving.
