30-Year-Old Passenger Dead, One Man Injured in ATV Rollover Collision near Silverbell Road
TUCSON, AZ (April 30, 2024) – Thomas Balicki died early Monday morning, and another victim was hurt in an ATV rollover collision on El Camino Del Cerro and Silverbell Road.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m., on April 22nd.
Reports indicate that an ATV lost control and overturned while traveling west on El Camino Del Cerro. The driver, who remains unidentified, became trapped beneath the vehicle. Balicki, a passenger on the ATV, was thrown onto the road and subsequently struck by a passing vehicle. Balicki, aged 30, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Meanwhile, emergency responders transported the trapped driver to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Authorities report that the driver who struck Balicki remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
