Ray Manzarek, who founded The Doors with Jim Morrison in Venice in 1965 after their time at UCLA, died today at the age of 74, the band's official Facebook page announced.

The keyboard player, who gave the quintessential L.A. rock band part of its signature sound, died at RoMed Clinic in Rosenheim, Germany "after a lengthy battle with bile duct cancer," the band's page states:

A young photographer reportedly shooting Justin Bieber's Ferrari during a traffic stop was killed when he was struck by a car in the Sepulveda Pass. Bieber was not in the white Ferrari 458 Italia, according to reports.

Fans gathered in Lakewood overnight to mourn the passing of Long Beach native Jenni Rivera, who became a multi-media star based on her Mexican banda music.

Her father reportedly confirmed her passing outside the family's Lakewood, home where the Rivera faithful had come with candles and flowers.

The train wreck that is Katt Williams' latest comedy tour has taken some bizarre turns in Seattle.

The Weekly has learned that his Thursday no show was caused not by an arrest, as audience members were told, but by an episode in which Williams' Hummer ran out of gas on the way to the event and the comedian allegedly slashed its tires and rammed it with a backup vehicle.
