Teen marijuana use continues to rise, according to the latest annual Monitoring the Future survey. Some, including the Associated Press, are noting that the popularity of pot on high school campuses correlates with the increasing legality of cannabis across America.

The survey found that nearly 1 in 4 (23 percent) of U.S. high school seniors have toked in the last month. More than a third (36 percent) say they've smoked in the last year.

Students at University of California campuses are outraged.

There's war in Afghanistan. The Occupy nation is trying to prevent big banks, many of which were bailed out by taxpayers, from foreclosing on American homes. And student fees and tuition have just about tripled in the last 10 years.

Kids who grow up with iPads, iPhones and computers will not be the same as you and I.

Oh no. They're going to be "quick-acting multitaskers who count on the Internet as their external brain and who approach problems in a different way from their elders," according to a summary of the latest technology survey from the Pew Research Center.

Ah, but there's a flip side to being quick with your tracking finger:

A trio of juniors from the upper-crust community of Palos Verdes Estates was arrested this week.

Smart little buggers allegedly broke into Palos Verdes High School, which they attend, and changed grades for classmates -- and not for free, police tell the Weekly. No, this was strictly a market-driven endeavor, it seems:

$300 $500 bucks for a bump up from B to an A, one student told cops.
