First of all you pencilnecks, here are some FACTS: Latinos and African Americans are the groups that account for a large percentage of all motor vehicle accident fatalities each year. You cannot get a legitimate California license that actually identifies you as you without the appropriate paperwork. From some other states, they are less stringent. Washington State is one. Also, Luna has a criminal record -- so he would have been deported after a previous arrest. I don't see how any of the racial commentary has much to do with the tragedy that occurred. Hit and Run accidents happen all the time and people panic, do strange things that seem to either be evil, foolish or just make no sense. Frankly, that's the intruiging part of this story and we don't know the answers yet. No matter what, a whole lot of lives and families will suffer -- including the driver's 7 month old baby who will grow up without knowing his parents.

This whole incident is about the tragic loss of a life and damage of another. The woman who hit Adrianna and my nephew, Marcus, now claims she is not guilty and this I find hard to believe. She might get off without really paying for what she did. HOwever, I know she must hava conscience and she too is a mother. Her husband is lower than any cockroach for having done what he did but I believe in Divine Justice. He shall be found and punished. Perhaps none of the punishments for both of these no-backbone individuals will be enough but I hope they are judged and found guilty to pay for what they did. I feel sorry for the five kids the woman has. It's true they might be gang members in waiting but anyone without love and support from their family could end up like so. Let's focus on the prayers and positive thinking that both our families need. Leave aside all hatred and bigotry that lead to more violence and human destruction and despair. To the person who said that illegals can't get a legal drivers license, that is not true. Perhaps not a California license but many other states grant them drivers licenses. My gardner is one of them. His is from Nevada. How do I know that he is illegal? He told me so. The drivers license is legitimate. Now with these two hit and run scumbags, I can't say if it was a California license or not but to assume that she isn't an illegal alien because of it is simply naive. Also, many illegals are deported and return so Luna also may still be illegal and returned to this country. We have too many missing facts to say either way so let's save our statements for or against until the facts come out. Don't hold your breath for those facts to come out of the LA Times however.

While everybody argues about racial issues, which is irrelevant, a young woman lies silently in her rose-colored coffin and a young man lies crying in a hospital bed, knowing extreme pain and frustration.

It's very unfortunate this tragedy ended up with a dead person and personally being a ‘SC alumni it feels like a distant family has passed. As we know, there are a lot of tragedies in California. This past week, I recall hearing about fatality accidents almost every morning coming to work. Fortunately, I wasn’t the one involved in any of those accidents. First things first, we all know S*it happens. Matter of fact, it can strike us at anytime. And if you’re not the victim, consider yourself lucky. We just need to find ways to avoid S*it landing on us.

The good news began when the TV was received earlier than predicted. Excellent right out of the box and the picture is first rate. I replaced a 5 year old DLP 50 inch screen with this 52 inch and I cannot be more pleased.
