TMZ is reporting that NBA player and former Los Angeles Clipper Zach Randolph is being accused of beating up a local citizen inside West Hollywood eatery Berri's Pizza Café. Supposedly there was a verbal confrontation, and the alleged victim's lawyer said his client had been beaten so heavily that he incurred damaged teeth, a hurt neck, a wounded back, face scars and a knee injury that will require surgery.

It's not unrealistic to assume that Randolph, who is listed as 6'9" and 260 pounds, is capable of delivering such an epic ass-whooping. He also has a very long history of getting into trouble. However, Randolph's lawyer said that the victim's council first demanded $250,000, then $200,000 and eventually $25,000. Scam? Maybe. Still no word on the toppings.
