Tru Blood For Sale: The Fake Blood Substitute Vampire Drink Now Available
Blood, apparently, tastes like oranges. At least in the mind of Hollywood network executives. HBO is selling bottles of actual, real Tru Blood at $16 per four-pack.
There is, however, no real human (or other creature's) blood in it. Only a "delicious blood orange carbonated drink." The bottles are replicas of the ones used on the show. But watch out: it's caffeinated.

- Death on the Beach - Tru Blood, Peach Schnapps, Pineapple Juice, Vodka
- Plasmapolitan - Tru Blood, Citron, Cointreau, Fresh Lime Juice
You can pre-order now for shipment on September 8. The season finale of True Blood is almost upon us and I'm told fans are picking up this stuff for episode viewing parties. Will Vampire Eric and Sookie hook up? Will Vampire Bill be devastated? Will Maryann finally stop making people have orgies? Will Lafayette get the screen time he deserves? And more importantly, will HBO be making diet Tru Blood?
