The popular Westside Oaxacan restaurant Monte Alban is back in business, which is good news for local mole enthusiasts.

The restaurant closed after a fire blazed through the restaurant back in August, and re-opened yesterday to an enthusiastic rush of regulars.
Monte Alban: 11927 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles; (310) 444-7736. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, Mon - Thurs., 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Fri - Sun, 8 a.m. - midnight.
