A HOT Date at Pourtal Wine Bar: Playmate Tasting Party

Unquestionably the hottest date on next week's Eat and Drink Calendar is Tuesday, October 6, when Pourtal Wine Tasting Bar kicks off The Imbiber's Ultimate Playmate Fantasy Wine Tour Launch Party. That is, a flight of eight wines inspired by eight of history's most iconic Playboy Playmates: the Rocca Family Vineyards "Bad Boy Red" is as "scandalously delicious" as Pamela Anderson, and the Paraduxx 2006 is "delicate and full-bodied" like pin-up girl Bettie Page. And Tenuta di Ghizzano Il Ghizzano 2007? Anna Nicole Smith, naturally.

From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Pourtal will showcase the complete lineup on their Enomatic machines, offering one-ounce pours of the wines from $2.30 to $8.80 per taste. Expect Playmate friends of Playboy.com columnist, "The Imbiber" Dan Dunn, to be in attendance. The tour and tasting notes, penned by Dunn, will be available on TheImbiber.net.
