A Retrospective: 10 Great Super Bowl Food & Drink Commercials

As the Super Bowl approaches, with its marquee quarterback matchup, its ridiculous halftime show, and its million dollar commercials, we thought we'd look back at some of the better--or at least more memorable--Super Bowl food and drink commercials of years past. Because although some of us may be spending halftime making gumbo in the kitchen this Sunday, watching commercials is as much a traditional Super Bowl event as is figuring out which AARP rocker will take the stage next year. Yes, the commercials are heavy on the beer and junk food, but sadly there isn't much of a market for outrageously expensive commercials for artisan cheeses or sous-vide machines.
