This Just In: Colorado Boulevard Gets Another Euro Pane

Sumi Chang, of Pasadena's beloved Euro Pane bakery, will open an outpost across from Paseo Colorado, just west of the original location. The new shop will be an express version of the original, offering a slightly abbreviated menu "concentrating on paninis and salads, with a full coffee bar," says Chang. This morning, new employees were being trained in preparation of the April 1 opening. When it comes to the inimitable egg salad, Chang's currant-rosemary bread and those lavender macarons, two Euro Panes is better than one.
