Tired of getting your Anthony Bourdain fix via the Travel Channel, your demi-glace-stained pages of Kitchen Confidential (or Bone in the Throat, circa 1995), or even, gasp, from the untangled threads of @ruthbourdain? The chef-author-host-eater-of-unmentionables will be holding court at UCLA's Royce Hall on June 16th. That's Bloomsday, a fitting day for the peripatetic chef to come to rest and expound on offal. Or whatever. Tickets go on sale a week from today, Friday, April 9th. If you put that on your calendar now, maybe you'll be able to get reservations. Your No Reservations joke here _________.
And if you're wondering why Bourdain is on the circuit, it's because his new book, Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook (which will include an "incredibly undiplomatic discussion" with David Chang and the segment, Don't Ask Alice, Alice Waters -- Good... or Evil?) will be released on June 8th from HarperCollins.
