Anatolian Festival
Now is the time to explore the cuisine of Anatolia

Eating too much of the same old Italian, Chinese, Mexican and Japanese food lately? Well from today through Sunday, you can head over to the Orange County Great Park in Irvine for a wide range of Anatolian food at the Anatolian Culture & Food Festival. Anatolia, the west Asian geographic region primarily consisting of modern day Turkey, is the focus of a four day celebration which will feature music, dancing, arts, crafts, and most importantly, food.

Anatolian cuisine is very Mediterranean, with a lot of dishes you'd find in Greek, Armenian, Lebanese and, of course, Turkish restaurants. Some of the food available at the festival will include shish kabob, doner, baqlava, lahmajune, pickles, dumplings and pilaf.

The Anatolian Culture & Food Festival is open Thursday through Sunday from 10am to 10pm. Single-day tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for children; multi-day are $20 and $9. Orange County Great Park, 6990 Marine Way, Irvine.
