• Don't remember the episode but will never forget the line: Panda in a Box: It's finger Ling-Ling good! And the McRib episode: "Is it pork?" "Think smaller and furrier!"

• This one sentence challenges visitors to reply in a relaxed way and with no need of constraint so long as these replies fall inside specific guidelines. This kind of sentence incorporates an internet in-joke that doesn�t actually fit the subject.

• "Come see Bottomless Pete - nature's cruelest mistake." Totally agree that the Flying Dutchman episode should be there.

• Does tomacco count as a food? Tomatoes + Tobacco = crazy addicted cows!

• "you cant have that one, thats a pinapple cake!"

• Most shows after seven years become really stale, and awful. The exception being the Simpsons, South Park, Seinfeld, Friends (not a big fan of). I would say that Family Guy season 7 was pretty bad (with the exception of some episodes). I think Seinfeld stopped before the episodes got tasteless. It's better to burn out than it is to rust.

• This list totally excludes the use of ones head to Squeeze An Orange!!!! Sorry, but that's an Epic Fail in my book!

• Comic Book Guy, that was a fine scan of the sacred texts. It was my impression that when Horst remarks "After all, we are from the Land of Chocolate," it expressed a certain empathy for Homer's plight and therefore suggested that Horst as well had a passion for candy.

• What about Treehouse of Horror III?! Shopkeeper: "Take this object, but beware it carries a terrible curse!" Homer: "Ooh, that's bad." Shopkeeper: "But it comes with a free frogurt!" Homer: "That's good." Shopkeeper: "The frogurt is also cursed." Homer: "That's bad." Shopkeeper: "But you get your choice of toppings." Homer: "That's good!" Shopkeeper: "The toppings contain potassium benzoate." (Homer looks puzzled) Shopkeeper: "...That's bad." Homer: "Can I go now?"

• * ahem * I believe your list contains an error. The nuclear powered plant in Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk; Season Three was not purchased by a 'candy-loving" consortium of Germans. While they were in fact GERMANS, the reference that prompted Homer's reverie was an attempt by the lead principle to help his new employees identify the homeland of the new owners, it was not used as an expression of said owner's desires. * ahem *

• My absolute favorite Simpson's joke is from the fifth season episode "Homer Loves Flanders." A few lines contain about eight jokes, and they're all brilliant: Homer: God, if you really are God, you'll get me tickets to that game. (doorbell rings] Ned: Heidely-ho, neighbor. Wanna go to the game with me? I got two tick-- Homer: (slams the door, then looking upwards) Why do you mock me, O Lord? Marge: Homer, that's not God. That's just a waffle that Bart tossed up there. (Marge scrapes waffle off into Homer's hands) Homer: I know I shouldn't eat thee, but -- (bites) Mmm, sacrilicious.

• To CPA1 and Mac: Agreed. Homer vs. NYC and Marge's pretzel wagon episode were on the original list. It hurt to cut them. "No bowl. Stick. Stick." "Next, open your bag of ingredients. Check for... ungh... millipedes..."

• What about Lional hutz office with principal skinner. I cant remember the episode offhand Skinner: Is their an orange julius on this floor? Hutz: I'll sell you this one, it's almost full. Skinner: We'll why don't i just drink out of a toilet Hutz: He'll be back.

• Great list. I can't argue against anything here - very solid. My favorite Homer line in Lisa the Vegetarian: "I don't need serving suggestions from you. You barbeque wrecking, know-nothing, know-it-all.

• Notice how all of these are within the first 8 seasons. More proof that the Simpsons have lost touch of it's former glory and brilliance. I can't stand to watch it anymore, as it no longer offers anything fresh or worth watching (with the exception of the Treehouse Of Horror Episodes). Which is why we have Family Guy now.

• What about the episode where all of Homer's prayer's are answered? Doesn't bacon mix with chocolate? In the same episode, Colonel Sanders is feeding God popcorn chicken. Also, When Homer goes to hell and has to eat all the donuts in the world. Finally, I will go with the pretzel wagon episode. That is pretty classic.

• It's funny because all of these food references are from the classic episodes, none feature in any of the newer series. Such a shame.

• God I love you all. Emma, the Ribwich sequence was a tough one to cut, but it was outside of season 10 (i.e., the last season when the show was really firing on all cylinders), so my personal bias won out in the end. Zach, yes. Just...yes.
