Street Gourmet LA on Bizarre Foods: Viewing Party + Happy Hour at Guelaguetza
Local food blogger Bill Esparza (Street Gourmet LA) will be appearing on the upcoming Baja episode of the Beard Award-winning Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. To celebrate, there will be a viewing party at the Olympic branch of Oaxacan restaurant Guelaguetza this coming Monday, June 14th at 6 p.m.

To eat and drink? A special happy hour menu of $5 foods and drinks, including a selection of both bizarre and not-so bizarre foods. The more adventurous options include sautéed grasshoppers, and a pair of mezcal cocktails served with a rim of crushed agave worm salt. If those sound like a bit much for you, you can opt for clayudas, taquitos, quesadillas, and more basic tequila cocktails. And as a bonus, expect a special message, via satellite, from Andrew Zimmern.
