LA Weekly Reader Twitpic Photo of the Day: Espresso + A Puppy

Here's a terrific photo, tweeted to us by a reader, valeriesee, with a sense of humor. The owner of this unidentified coffee shop has a pretty good sense of humor too, by the looks of it, although perhaps less so than the DCFS, which agency would probably get notified before any unattended kids got their espresso, puppy, drum and profanity lesson. Too bad the offer doesn't apply to unattended, under-caffeinated grownups. If anyone can ID the coffee shop, please let us know. We like puppies as much as espresso, and are always on the lookout for more vocabulary.

Hey! I saw this really cool sign the other day, too! It had a kitten hanging from a tree, and it said, "Hang in there, baby!" HA HA HA HA!!!

I wish I could remember where I saw it! It was such a unique poster! If only there were some kind of computerized network where I could find it!

Oh, well; I hope someone takes a picture of it, so it can show up in LA Weekly as something new and unique.

Was this taken in China? We don't eat puppies here, though I hear they are delicious.

In the age of internet and easy travel, there's a good chance anything you think is new and unique, really isn't. I've seen this even at a chicken farm in Sebastopol, CA (Rose and Thorn).

Yes - I've seen this one too. I like the store that promises to sell my kid to the circus.

Oh, I've been there! Essential Chocolate in Culver City. Had a good chuckle at the sign, as my kids pointed out all of the chocolate goodies they planned on eating.
