Recently we wrote about the magnificent Berkshire pig from ReRide Ranch that Nathan McCall and Karen Yoo had for sale -- or rather, bits of it -- at their Los Feliz butcher shop, McCall's Meat & Fish. Well, the response was so positive, one might even say overwhelming ("we were already sold out by noon"), that they're bringing in farmer Lefty Ayers' second pig. "We had amazing feedback with the first pig. We sold 1/2 of the second one to another customer and have pre-sold a few items of the next one. We are going to cut off pre-ordering at this point so more parts will be available for walk-ins," emailed McCall yesterday, saying that they'll post further updates on Twitter and Facebook.
