Brian's Hair: Your New Twitter Mashup
No one will ever duplicate the one-shot schizophrenic hilarity of Ruth Bourdain, bless him or her or whomever. But it seems like we now have our own Twitter mashup here, the very funny Brian's Hair, who goes by the name of @BrianSaltsHair: a Twitter hybrid of Test Kitchen's Brian Saltsburg and, of all people, Barry Gibb. Okay, so it doesn't quite reach the stratosphere of Reichl and Bourdain, but it is pretty funny. Check out these latest tweets by whomever tweets under the slogan, "I'm big, I'm bad, I'm bouffant." One of our favorites: "My hair-hero is @MarcelVigneron - Thanks for coming to showcase your talent at Test Kitchen. I really hope I didn't end up in your food." Another? "@DavidSHaskell would you like to get together and I will let you shampoo me?"
Food GPS's Josh Lurie and Street Gourmet LA's Bill Esparza spent some time recently musing on the identity of this one -- thanks to Lurie for the heads-up -- but they haven't figured it out yet. Or if they have, they're not saying. Any ideas, let us know. In the meantime, we'll make some Test Kitchen reservations (the idea perhaps) and go resurrect our LP of Stayin' Alive. Yes, we do have one. Don't we all.
